A pet peeve of mine…

Digital watches. Digital clocks, I don’t mind, but if you’re going to wear a watch, a good old-fashioned analog watch looks better.

Mike insists on wearing a digital watch, a rather cheapy one at that. I would love to buy him a nice IWC watch for Christmas, but he probably wouldn’t wear it. It’s a shame, because he’s spent so much money replacing watches and bands over the years. If only he’d accept a gift of a good watch, he’d have it forever, and wouldn’t have to replace anything except the battery every so often.

Oh, well, what can you do?
