bargain alert!, just stuph
…yes, on the dreaded Black Friday. But no, I didn’t haul my carcass up at the butt-crack of dawn so that I can stand in line for hours in the freezing cold to get stuff like flat panel televisions on the cheap. Nah…not worth it to me!
I went to Target, because I wanted to pick up a few DVDs. I wanted “Shrek the Third” and “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause”, and I got those…for $14 and $15 respectively. I was also hoping to pick up a copy of “Ratatouille”, but there seemed to be none to be had. Maybe it was on sale for dirt cheap, and the store sold out of them well before noon. I haven’t been keeping track of who had what on sale for Black Friday. I just chose to go to Target because they consistently have the best prices on new release DVDs.
The store wasn’t even that crowded…but the selection of some things was very well picked over. But still, I got what I wanted for the most part, and was in and out of there quickly. I wish all shopping was that easy!
