Everything is breaking down…

5:16 pm i'm on a rant, just stuph

Okay, so I lost the charger for my new cell phone. How come I have the chargers for my last two phones, though? Too bad neither of them will work with my new phone. I need to get rid of them. I know a guy who has the same Verizon Wireless phone that I used to have…I should give him the old charger, as well as the old car charger, as well. Maybe he can use them as spares in case he loses his charger. As for my Tracfone Motorola phone charger, Mike has the same phone that I used to, so he can use the charger. But he’s dumping Tracfone come June 2008, as soon as his current service plan is up. After what they did to me, when I tried to buy a new camera phone from them, neither of us wants to give that evil company any more of our money. It took forever to get a refund for the phone I ordered but never got. I hate them so much, and I urge you NEVER to use them

I’m with Virgin Mobile now. Very happy so far, and they have much better customer service reps. They actually speak ENGLISH, howzabout that?

Anyhoo, I looked in Target for a new charger last night, and all they had were car chargers. I already have a car charger, in fact, I had to charge my phone in the car last night, because that’s the only way I have to do so. I guess if I either don’t find my original charger, or find a replacement in another store, I’ll just have to order one online from Virgin Mobile’s website.

The cradle for my XM radio receiver is busted…don’t know what happened to it, but the power cord no longer makes contact to keep it plugged in. I also can’t plug in the anteanna, either. But I was able to plug the power cord into the unit WITHOUT the cradle…so now it doesn’t stand up. As for the antenna, the portable one is enough to pull in a signal here. So I can get along with this one for now, as long as I can listen, I’m happy. They have all of the Christmas music channels on now…my favorite is “Special Xmas”, it’s mostly weird and novelty type songs. It’s a lot of fun. Also, on XM radio, there are no commercials on any of the music channels. Most commercials are annoying, so it’s nice not to have to hear them.

One of our DVD players sucks…it actually always has, but for the longest time, we thought we had defective DVDs. We bought a copy of the third “Santa Clause” movie on DVD, and it would not play in this particular player. But we tried it on another player and it worked. I have a whole stack of DVDs that will not play on this thing, but work on the other player.

The brand of DVD player that sucks is Go-Video. They make DVD/VCR combos, that’s what we have. DO NOT buy this brand of player, ever. I’m ready to chuck this one and replace it. I should be able to play what DVD I want in whichever room I want.

At least my iPod hasn’t croaked on me yet…but I haven’t even had it for a year. But eventually I will have to replace the battery, so I’ll need to find a source for great ipod batteries.

When I finally took the plunge and bought my iPod, I spent a little more and went for the video one. Still, I use it mostly for music…but I bought some games for it, too. Very nice for when I’m stuck in a waiting room or other boring place.

I just hope nothing else breaks or gets lost! Enough is enough!
