…with Christmas shopping. Did most of it online, because going to stores and mauls this time of year annoys the hell out of me. Besides, Amazon has much better prices on stuff.
I really did order a squeegee for Mike. It’s not as nice a gift as, say, ebel watches, but it will make him happy. I swear, he is anal about the car windows being spotless…kind of hard now, because of all of the rock salt and sand on the roads these days. As you may know, we got about ten inches of snow last Thursday, and another right inches or so on Sunday. So, it’s been a real mess around here.  We’re supposed to get a couple more inches tomorrow, but that’ll be nothing compared with what we’ve already gotten.
I’m glad that the weekend should be snow-free. I need to shop for Christmas dinner food. I think we’ll have a ham, what else, I don’t know. I’d also like to do a nice meal for Christmas Eve. I’ve heard of the Italian tradition of serving seven types of fish on Christmas Eve. That’s a lot of fish, but then again, we’re not Italian. But I saw some great dishes on this show on the Food Network…it had Giada DeLaurentiis and Mario Batali cooking the Italian Christmas Eve dinner. It all looked very tasty…I need to go to the site and find the recipes.
I have some cards ready to go out, maybe people will get them by Monday, maybe not. Maybe the rest of the cards I send this year will be New Year’s cards. That will take some stress off of me.
I’m just glad most of the gift shopping is done…now let’s see if all of this expedited shipping that I paid extra for delivers as advertised!
