…in this house leaves a lot to be desired. There is not much in the way of ceiling lighting here, so we must rely on lamps for our home lighting needs.
Reading in bed is a problem. The lamp by my bed is one of those little table lamps that can only have something like a 60-watt battery. Not bright enough! I’ve been looking at desk lamps as an alternative.  I have a really nice on on my craft desk; maybe I should get something like it to use in the bedroom as a reading lamp.
I need to look at lamps and lamp shades for the living room, as well. I know that I at least need to get a new shade for one of the floor lamps in the living room. One of the cats managed to knock it over, and it hit the side of the coffee table and caused the shade to be damaged.
Since I prefer to shop online when I can…stores and mauls drive me insane at any time of year…I’m looking at Farreys.com and their selection of lamps. Very nice stuff!
