~ The CKU In A Box kit that I ordered from QVC earlier in the week came yesterday…now that was FAST! The kit is as cool as I expected it to be, and on Monday I’m going to start watching the classes on the DVD and start working with it. Not this weekend, though, as it’s hard for me to get anything done when Mike is at home! So I’ll wait until Monday when I have some peace and quiet.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy Proactiv Solution from one of those mall kiosks. Today, Mike had to go to Sears to buy underwear (exciting, huh?), so we went to the Burlington Mall. Since watching Mike take forever to pick out underwear is not my idea of a good time, I wandered on over to Sephora to look at Bare Escentuals makeup. I don’t have a lot of money to buy anything at the moment…I just got some new BE from Sephora.com this past week…also, I just dropped a wad of cash on a season mini-plan for New Hampshire Fisher Cats baseball. So no new goodies for me today. But the nice thing about Sephora is that you can try the products before buying; I was checking out the various shades of my new BE addiction, Buxom Lips. I have one shade, but wanted to see how all of the others looked. Of course, they don’t let you apply it to the lips directly with the samplers, so I put it on my hand and then used my finger to put it on my lips. I think I want them ALL now! But not today…no, I didn’t buy anything.
Anyhoo, on the way to Sephora, I saw a Proactiv kiosk, and I stopped to look at it. It’s nice that they have testers for trying things out, but the prices are a LOT higher than they are on the website. Yikes! No thanks, I will order online. And it’s even cheaper for me because I get the regular bi-monthly shipments, you get a price break for doing that.

~ It sure is COLD here…I wish we could go someplace warm. Fort Myers, Florida, sounds really nice right now, since the Red Sox equipment truck is headed there as I type this, and pitchers and catchers report for Spring Training later in the week. But any place that might be warmer than here would be nice…what’s the weather like these days in Branson Missouri? Probably not as warm ad Florida, but still, it’s a place I’d like to see someday. They actually have musicians there that Mike and I have actually heard of, whatta concept!

Anyhoo, back to the CKU box thingy…this will be the first time I’ve done ANY scrapping in ages, and this looks to be a good kick in the pants to get me going again. I will be sure to post the things I make with the kit!
