…but just a very small, inexpensive one for now. I want to see if I can stick with it first, and if I can, them I might seriously consider getting a better quality machine from NordicTrack or one of the other good brands out there.
It’s on back-order until March 2, though. Or so they say. One of the things with Brylane Home is that they don’t tell you if the item is in stock until you add it to your shopping cart. Sometimes, they’d say it was on back-order once it was in the cart…only to get a postcard many weeks later telling me that the item was no longer available AT ALL. Very annoying. But hopefully, they’ll really restock the item and ship it to me. March 2 is not a very long wait. We shall see!
I would actually like to try to work off a few pounds here. Nothing too extreme, though. I could just take diet pills, but that is not really enough…you need to exercise and get into better shape to lose weight. Diet pills may keep you from eating too much, but they don’t do anything for your muscles.
I don’t get out much during the week…I know I could just take walks in the neighborhood, but if you lived in my neighborhood, you’d not want to walk around here, either. I don’t really want to spend the money to join a gym, plus, I don’t want other people (especially the skinny bitches) looking at me.
A while back, I thought about joining Curves. But I decided against it for a few reasons. First of all, the initial diet is low-carb…I know, it works for some people, but I’d be committing murder on someone within a week. Sorry, no can do. Also, the guy who founded it is some sort of religious whackjob who wants to deny reproductive rights to the very women who helped make him rich. No way is he getting one thin dime from me!
So I’ll try this on my own, with the stepper, if I ever get it, and perhaps some sort of diet pills. The problem with being at home alone all day is the urge to snack, and that does need to stop.
We shall see how it all goes!
