Well, my number one thing has to be my Bare Escentuals makeup. I can’t believe how much better my skin looks since I started using their foundations! I will NEVER use a cream or liquid foundation again…that stuff just gunked up my pores for years!
Of course, using some good acne treatments helped clear my skin. I am currently using a well-known brand that you know from TV, but I will be switching over to a drugstore brand that is half the price…and also frees me from auto-shipments that I can’t always afford.
As for hair care, my favorite is the Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner, from John Frieda. It really does make my hair feel and look better, and it’s well worth the extra cost. Besides, I often can get it on sale.

How long does the foundation usually last you? I’m getting refunded on a gift I bought for myself for my Birthday so I was thinking about finally trying out something like this.

Jade, mine usually last about 3 months or so. Those containers may be small, but a little goes a long way.
Sephora sells a starter kit for around $60, it comes with several products and brushes. It’s cheaper than buying them separately. If you have a Sephora store in your area, you can go there and try the product before you buy.
However, if you’re on a budget, Kat says that Avon’s mineral makeup is just as good as BE, and much cheaper. I have not personally tried it yet, though.
Whatever brand you go with, once you try mineral makeup, you may never want to go back to anything else. I love it!
