		<description>I wouldn&#039;t worry about the stove. I have the almost identical stove (it looks exactly the same, only it&#039;s called &quot;Hotpoint&quot; not &quot;Kenmore&quot; and have had it for 4 years now. It was in the house when we bought it, so it&#039;s likely older than that. Haven&#039;t had any problems with it yet (knock on wood) and I never bothered to read the manual.  I&#039;m sure it won&#039;t be too hard to use!

If it does need to be repaired, just insist the landlady be there to watch the workmen.  After all, she should be there to make sure it&#039;s done correctly -- it&#039;s not like you&#039;d care, you don&#039;t own it! She should care about her own property enough to make sure it&#039;s done right!
